Few islands can boast of such an abundance of sandy beaches and clear waters as Phuket. Some of the famous Phuket beaches are Patong Beach, Kata/Karon Beach, Nai Yang Beach, and Rawai Beach.

Patong Beach is the area that attracts most tourists visiting Phuket, with the combination of its powdery sand, Pacific sea, blue sky, and great variety of shopping and entertainment places. There are many outdoor and sporting activities available, such as scuba diving, snorkeling, parasailing, and many more, to suit all needs.

You will feel as though you have your own beach while you are walking on Kata/Karon beaches. After dark, just a couple minutes walk takes you to the entertainment areas.

Nai Yang Beach is quiet and clean beach where just a few businesses have been located, therefore, it is still clean and natural. Also, Naiyang National Park has been established to take care of the snorkeling among the beautiful and colorful coral reefs is extremely worthwhile and rewarding.

Rawai Beach is one of the first coastal areas on Phuket to be developed, simply because it was near and there was already large fishing community call "Sea Gypsy village" The beach attracts fishing enthusiasts and scuba divers.
