Safari World commenced its operation on February 17, 1988 with a total area of approximately 480 acres for its open zoo and approximately 180 acres for its bird park.

Later a Marine Park was also constructed at the Safari World Bangkok. Housing a vast spectrum of animals from land, sea and air, and setting the scene for amazing world class show, whether live stunt or animal performances, Marine Park is Thailand 's greatest showcase of animals.
